None of us choose the circumstances of our birth, whether rich or poor, male or female, healthy or disabled. These are mysteries of life entrusted to us by the Creator. What we can choose, however, is how we respond to those who are most vulnerable. At Snehan Home, we choose love, dignity, and care.
Francis, a 54 year old man who is 99% disabled, reminds us daily why Snehan exists. He cannot move on his own, cannot eat or sit without help. He must be carried like a child, dependent on others for every need. Imagine the insecurity and isolation he must feel. Yet within Snehan Home, Francis is not an object of pity, but a family member, respected and cherished.
This is the heart of Snehan Home: to be a refuge for those who have nowhere else to turn. Every resident who comes to us carries a story of helplessness. We meet them with compassion, providing regular medical care, safe shelter, nutritious meals, and emotional support. More than services, we offer belonging, a place where the forgotten are remembered, where the helpless are honored, and where hope is restored.
But this mission cannot continue without friends who believe in dignity for all. Your support enables Snehan Home to sustain and expand its care, ensuring that people like Francis live not in despair, but in love. Together, we can transform helplessness into hope.
