Marthan, a 50-year-old man, was found on the streets in a critical condition, without anyone to care for him. After receiving a call from the Grand Bazer police station requesting assistance, we rushed to the scene to provide immediate medical support. His entire body was paralyzed, and he could barely open his mouth enough to sip water. In this dire state, we admitted him to the emergency ward, where he remained bedridden for 14 days.
For the first month, he could only consume small amounts of tea, and for two months, he relied on diapers. However, our persistent efforts were not in vain. Today, his health has significantly improved. He is now actively involved in keeping the campus clean and contributes in any way he can. Though he has no recollection of his family or home and his mental capacity resembles that of a four-year-old, his playful and helpful nature is a source of joy.
Marthan now takes daily baths, dresses neatly, and maintains cleanliness. We are incredibly happy and proud to have supported him on his journey to recovery.
