Near Asharam Book Shop in Pondicherry, a man around 35 years old was found in a heartbreaking state unknown name, unknown past, but clearly fighting for life. His body bore infected wounds around the waist, emitting a foul odor. He was screaming in pain, surrounded by filth, motion all over his body, and his unstable mind kept everyone away. No one dared to approach him.

Snehan Home could not turn away. Our team rushed to the spot, bathed him, changed his clothes, and immediately admitted him to the Government Hospital’s accident ward. Doctors, however, gave little hope due to his fragile health and unstable condition.

Even so, Snehan caregivers remain by his side cleaning him, changing diapers, feeding him on time, and supporting his medication. His recovery may take months, and doctors still hesitate to give positive answers. Yet, Snehan stands firm: every life matters, every soul deserves dignity.

We believe that with compassion and cooperation, even the most broken lives can be restored. Snehan is committed to supporting the neediest patients in society. If hospitals and communities join hands, countless lives can be saved.
