The seeds of Snehan were sown in compassion inspired by the life of Mother Teresa of Kolkata and St. Francis of Assisi. As a young boy, I could never walk past the sick or disabled without offering help. Those small acts of kindness brought smiles to the faces of the deprived and peace to my own heart. Over time, these experiences became the foundation of a lifelong mission to serve the neglected and restore dignity to their lives.
Snehan Home today stands as an inspiration of hope for destitute individuals who once had no one to care for them. Through rehabilitation, skill building, and emotional support, Snehan transforms hopelessness into possibility. Every life saved, every smile restored, is proof that love in action can change society.
Recently, Snehan welcomed 40 MSW students from, Kerala, for an exposure visit to Puducherry. Their youthful energy and passion for social work reminded us that the future of our society lies in the hands of such committed change makers. Anumuthu, founder of Snehan, shared his personal journey of two decades in the social sector, motivating them to embrace challenges with courage and compassion. The students left inspired Christ College, carrying with them the conviction that they too can be catalysts for transformation.
Snehan’s story is not just about one organization; it is an invitation to all. When individuals choose to act with love, society becomes a better place to live in peace. Together, we can build a world where no one dies neglected.
