It was a great pleasure to invite Shri. Dr. E. Vallavan I.A.S the District collector of Puducherry to inaugurate the Snehan Home at Lawspet Puducherry. He gave a very simple but very powerful message for all of us and encouraged us to value our parents.
Snehan Home is a residential short stay rehabilitation cum care & support centre for the neglected old people in Puducherry. We had about 100 guests in person to bless the new venture. Even though we had good rain and disrupted the stage decoration and our planned program, we had a meaningful and heart touching occasion. The guest of honour was Mr. G. Karthikeyan, (founder, Sristi Foundation) who gave an encouraging message about the social needs in Puducherry that was eye-opening for all the guests. We had Mr. Mukkesh Jain, a key member of Rotary Club (Beach Town) who always will to connect and support the needy. We had RBR Amul, a donor who gave us the hospital beds and mattress. The list would go on… at this movement I want to take this opportunity to thank all the dear and people who stand with me in this journey to bring in our society. You all mean so much to me and to society.
