In June 2025, Mr. Sundarrajan was found in a heartbreaking state—his body ravaged by infection, maggots feeding on open wounds, and his spirit barely holding on. He was completely disabled, unable to care for himself, and left to suffer in silence. But one urgent phone call changed everything.
With the compassionate support of Goodwill Mission, we rushed to his side. He was immediately taken for emergency medical care, where doctors put more effort to stabilize his condition. Once he was strong enough, Sundarrajan was welcomed into Snehan Home—a sanctuary of healing and hope.
There, he received not just medicine, but love. Nutritious meals, gentle care, and consistent treatment slowly brought him back to life. Day by day, his strength returned. And with it, his voice. During counseling, he spoke of his family—his longing to be reunited with his wife and children. His eyes lit up with hope.
Honoring his heartfelt wish, Snehan Home’s director Anumuthu, along with Mr. Murugan, accompanied Sundarrajan back to his hometown. The moment he stepped into his home, surrounded by the warmth of his loved ones, was nothing short of sacred.
✨ Snehan is deeply humbled to have played a part in restoring the dignity that life had once stripped away from Sundarrajan. His story is a testament to the power of compassion, and a reminder that every life deserves a second chance.
