Own family members throw Sakthivel 70 year’s old grandpa, near the railway station two nights ago. He is physically unwell and mentally not stable due to old age. He seems to be from Pondicherry. This is the most crucial time in his life where he needs intense care and support like infants. Therefore, Snehan with the help of police helped him in joining St. Joseph Ashram were he would get care and support for the rest of his life.

A Home for the Psychiatry destitute. Mr. Jubin runs the Anbu Jothy Asharam, where more than hundred Psychiatry and alcoholic addicts been rescued and been treated, near Villupuram district. Mr. Anumuthu and Francis (Volunteer) went to meet and discussed about working together to bring value in the life of neglected ones.

No operation without caretaker says Durairaj

Durairaj is 49 years old man form Villupuram district. His wife died and his only son working in Uttar Pradesh. Durairaj was working as a security in a company. While walking back home from duty, a drunkard man who was driving two-wheeler hit him. When he opened his eyes, he saw himself in the hospital with a leg broken. After few days, he was discharge from hospital because no one was there to stay with him during treatment. Last two months he doesn’t have any job or place to stay but lives on street without basic needs. He is going through intolerable pain; Snehan plans to help him for the operation as well as caretaker as soon possible. We need minimum Rs. 10000/- for his operation expense. Karunakaran, collects waste with one hand for his survival

Karunakaran is 52 year old man from Chennai. He came to Pondicherry seven years back after the death of his wife. He escaped from his son’s family because of domestic violence and abuse. After arriving Pondicherry, he went through much abuse physically from local colleagues. Few years back, he was paralyzed on his left side; he is not able to do much but slowly walks around and collects waste with one hand to sell for his survival. At present he is losing his eyesight, by end of January, Snehan plans to take him for medical assistance.

Life can be better for homeless with employment opportunity
