I was happy to meet honorable Governor of Pondicherry along with Snehan beneficiaries. We have given petition to support Snehan activities in rehabilitating the unemployed homeless adults from streets. Hope to receive positive results soon.

Balaraman had monthly sanitation (haircut, shower and clean cloths). After that, Mr. Ramasamy and Mr. Balaraman were taken to social welfare office to enquire and apply for old age pension. It is on the process, hope they will get something soon.

Fifteen days intensive natural farming training has come to conclusion on Sunday evening with certificate distribution. The experience that I went through was life changing. Now I have different opinion and soft corner for the agriculture. I learned about healthy and unhealthy soil, different types of crops, preparing the land for plantation, giving best nutrition to the crops naturally, making natural pesticides, cultivating, replanting and importance of country cows for agriculture. I can say that my experience was like a blind man getting sight all of a sudden. My learning will not stop with experience but put it in practice to train unemployed homeless beneficiaries to live in self-reliance. I want to take this opportunity to thank #kanthari foundation for the financial support and for creating an opportunity for me to complete the training. As agriculture dimming fast in India. Children are motivated to become a doctors, engineers, IT professionals, teachers, government jobholder’s so on. However, there few precious people, who understand the importance of farming, are trying their best to impart the importance to the self-motivated people like us, in agriculture. Kanthari and Sristi Foundation organizing 15 days natural farming training at Sristi Village. The organization who are working in poverty eradication in India and Africa are the participants. Now three days are over. I can say it’s one of the best education, that everyone should learn for happy life.

Snehan is so blessed to have this vehicle for our daily activities. We used to struggle so much to take our beneficiary (destitute people) to hospital and other places. Moreover, sick and disabled destitute were not allowed in public transport and even auto walas would not come for hire. Now we are not dependent. Snehan wants to thank specially Mr. Theva Neethi Dhas IAS and his humble son Mr. Abishek, for kind donation of the TVS XL towards Snehan activities.

See the innocent smile of homeless uncle…he has no family, living on the streets since last 38 years, soon he will be selling eco-friendly cotton bags, do buy from him to earn with dignity.
